A database module contains design-time database artifacts. On deployment, a database module is assigned an HDI container to which the corresponding run-time database objects are deployed.

SAP HANA Database Module Generator

This generator simplifies the process to add a SAP HANA database module to a SAP HANA database project. It scaffolds the basic module structure, and provides a way to bind the database module to a Cloud Foundry service.

Prerequisites

To interact with Cloud Foundry this generator requires the Cloud Foundry Command Line Interface

Installation

npm install -g @sap/generator-add-hdb-module

Configuration

SAP Business Application Studio, and command-line require no additional configuration.
To use a graphical UI for the generator in Visual Studio Code install the Application Wizard extension.
