README
sinh
Compute the hyperbolic sine of a number.
Installation
npm install @stdlib/math-base-special-sinh
Usage
var sinh = require( '@stdlib/math-base-special-sinh' );
sinh( x )
Computes the hyperbolic sine of x
.
var v = sinh( 0.0 );
// returns 0.0
v = sinh( -0.0 );
// returns -0.0
v = sinh( 2.0 );
// returns ~3.627
v = sinh( -2.0 );
// returns ~-3.627
v = sinh( NaN );
// returns NaN
Examples
var linspace = require( '@stdlib/array-base-linspace' );
var sinh = require( '@stdlib/math-base-special-sinh' );
var x = linspace( -5.0, 5.0, 100 );
var i;
for ( i = 0; i < x.length; i++ ) {
console.log( sinh( x[ i ] ) );
}
