Return a directory name.

Installation

npm install @stdlib/utils-dirname

Usage

var dirname = require( '@stdlib/utils-dirname' );

dirname( path )

Returns a directory name.

var dir = dirname( './foo/bar/index.js' );
// returns './foo/bar'
