Installation

npm install cv-ip

var validations = require('composed-validations');
var ipValidator = require('cv-ip')(validations);

// The accepts option is optional.
// If you don't pass, will accept ipv4 and ipv6 ips

var validator = ipValidator({accepts: ['ipv4']})

validator.test("127.0.0.1") // will return 127.0.0.1

validator.test("1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8") // false (ValidatorError with the message: is not a valid ip address)
