A Weird Language Full Of Dashes And Other Characters

What Is Dashed

Dashed Is A Simple But Weird Language Which Gets Converted Into JavaScript. In Dashed All Characters Except A-Z and a-z Are Allowed.

Installation

To Use Dashed You Need dashed-lang Package. Its Is A CLI-App Which Converts Your Dash Code Into JS Code.

To Install dashed-lang Run :-


    yarn global add dashed-lang

    # or

    npm install --global dashed-lang

Usage

To Test Your Installation Run dashed-lang help In Your Terminal. This Will Print Out All Usage Information.

Dash Files Have .dash Extension. You Can Simply Enter Your Dash Code In A File With .dash Extension And Then Run dashed-lang compile <filename>. This Will Generate The JS Version Of Your Code And Put It In A File <filename>.js In Your cwd ( Current Working Directory ).

Hello World In Dashed

In Dash You Can Print Out "Hello World" To The Console By Typing.

This Will Turn Into console.log("Hello World").
