SleepTime
Detects when the system wakes up from sleep mode and calls a callback function.
The callback gets passed the duration the system was in sleep mode and the date
the system woke up again.
Usage
var SleepTime = require('sleeptime');
/* If the system idles for 5 seconds, call the function notify. */
var sleepy = new SleepTime(function(diff,date){
console.log("System slept for" + diff + " seconds" +
" and woke up at " + date);}, 5000);
/* You don't have to specify a threshold. The module defaults the threshold to 10 seconds.
* So this works too:
*/
var sleepy = new SleepTime(function(diff,date){
console.log("System slept for" + diff + " seconds" +
" and woke up at " + date);});
Note:
The module was only tested on OSX...I can't say if it works on other systems but i don't see why it should not :)
