dominsert
cross-browser insert adjacent html/element
Installation
Install with component:
$ component install bredele/dominsert
Install with nodejs:
$ component install bredele/dominsert
API
insert(parent, child[, position])
Insert a node into the DOM tree at a specified position:
- beforeend (default)
- afterend
- beforebegin
- afterbegin
var insert = require('dominsert');
insert(document.body, '<button>btn</button>');
insert.html(parent, child[, position])
Insert child string
insert(document.body, '<button>btn</button>', 'beforebegin');
insert
avoids the extra step of serialization which make it much faster than direct innerHTML manipulation.
insert.element(parent, child[, position])
insert child HTML element.
