🎉 A simple and efficient way to use handle Expo permissions through React hooks

Installation

npm install expo-permissions-hooks

The function usePermissions expects one single parameter, the required permission. For more info about expo permissions, read the expo-permissions documentation.

isChecking	Boolean	Whether the permission is being checked
isUndetermined	Boolean	Whether the permission has never been asked yet
isGranted	Boolean	Whether the permission has been granted

goToSettings	Function	Go to the OS' settings to change the given permission
