markdown-it-to-text

Render a markdown-it token list without HTML tags.

Usage no npm install needed!

Does all the logic the renderer does except for the part where it prints the tags!

takes the result of .parse() from markdown-it:

  let tokens = md.parse(source);
  renderAsText(tokens);
