Piotr DB

A database with the following features:

  • Schemas (json-schema)
  • Replication (like pouchDB)
  • Queries (like mongoDB)
  • LevelDOWN (all engines supported)

  • import/export (JSON)
  • Observables (from rxjs)
  • multiTab-support
  • for Browsers

Intention

I needed a database which works in nodeJS and the Browser. I wanted to easily request and save data. I wanted to use leveldown storage engines. I wanted schemas.

I tried levelup. I tried linvodb. I tried pouchDB. I tried minimongo.

But none of them was the optimal solution.

  • native multiTab/window-support
  • decrypted exports
