Botlerr CLI

These are the Botlerr Tools. They can be used to deploy and manage code and assets to your Botlerr projects.

To get started with the Botlerr CLI, read the full list of commands below.

Installation

To install the Botlerr CLI, you first need to sign up for a Botlerr account.

Then you need to install Node.js and npm. Note that installing Node.js should install npm as well.

Once npm is installed, open a terminal window and run the following command:

curl https://storage.googleapis.com/botlerr-cli_releases/botlerr_cli-latest.tar.gz --output botlerr_cli-latest.tar.gz && npm i -g ./botlerr_cli-latest.tar.gz

This will provide you with the globally accessible botlerr command.

Get Started

The command botlerr --help lists the available commands and botlerr <command> --help shows more details for a specific command.

Most commands require you to be authenticated. To login, run the following command:

botlerr login

You will be asked to enter your username & password for your Botlerr account. Once you have logged in successfully, you can start using the CLI tools.

Below is a brief list of the available commands and their function:

Administrative Commands

Command Description
login Authenticate to your Botlerr account.
list Print a list of all of your Botlerr projects.
init Setup a new Botlerr project in the current directory. This command will create a firebase.json configuration file in your current directory.
help Display help information about the CLI or specific commands.

Functions Commands

These commands let you deploy and manage code in your Botlerr project.

Command Description
functions:deploy Deploy a function to your Botlerr project.
functions:list List all available functions in your Botlerr project.

Flows Commands

You can create, update and get available conversation flows in your project with the following commands.

Command Description
flows:deploy Deploy a flow to your Botlerr project. If already exist it'll be updated.
flows:list List all available flows in your Botlerr project.
