react-native-colocator
Getting started
$ npm install react-native-colocator --save
Mostly automatic installation
$ react-native link react-native-colocator
iOS
Android
Add the following to your build.gradle file
repositories {
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
maven { url "http://maven.crowdconnected.net/" }
maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
}
Also ensure if you are using any libraries from com.google.android.gms:play-services
that they are set to use version 11.0.4
Then disable android:allowBackup in android/app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml
android:allowBackup="false"
Manual installation
iOS
- In XCode, in the project navigator, right click
Libraries
➜Add Files to [your project's name]
- Go to
node_modules
➜react-native-colocator
and addRNColocator.xcodeproj
- In XCode, in the project navigator, select your project. Add
libRNColocator.a
to your project'sBuild Phases
➜Link Binary With Libraries
- Run your project (
Cmd+R
)<
Android
- Open up
android/app/src/main/java/[...]/MainActivity.java
- Add
import com.reactlibrary.RNColocatorPackage;
to the imports at the top of the file - Add
new RNColocatorPackage()
to the list returned by thegetPackages()
method
- Append the following lines to
android/settings.gradle
:include ':react-native-colocator' project(':react-native-colocator').projectDir = new File(rootProject.projectDir, '../node_modules/react-native-colocator/android')
- Insert the following lines inside the dependencies block in
android/app/build.gradle
:compile project(':react-native-colocator')
Usage
import RNColocator from 'react-native-colocator';
RNColocator.init("API_KEY_HERE.colocator.net:443/socket", "API_KEY_HERE");
